    Exclamation mark Hi im new on cemu and i need help

    First of all i dont have windows 10.i have a iMac 2015 (the Specifications of my computer are:3,2 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB of RAM and a AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB) and im using an application called Parallels
    I install cemu in the application and i set up everything, i download super smash bros 4 ( in the compability page says the runs well) and when i run the game the application crashes, and windows says: "wii u emulator dosent work we are trying to get a solution, and we are sending a report to the developers". This has happendto me like 5 times.
    And i did also tried to test another game, Tokyo Mirrage Sessions FE ( and the compatibility page says it runs well) and happens the same thing.
    Please can someone help me

    I’m not sure how parallels desktop works. Is it just a vm? Mac does not support the required OpenGL and will not run cemu. To my knowledge the only way is via Bootcamp.

    no, parallels and boot camp work the same beaucse in parallels you buy a subscription of parallels and you have windows but with boot camp you have to buy or use the trial version of windows
    And for what i now OpenGL its something that has to do something with your gpu and i search for OpenGL 4.6 version for AMD Radeon R9 M390 2GB and i found nothing

    Like I said I don’t really know how parallels works. But post your log.txt after cemu crashes.

    Yeah. OpenGL is not initializing. This is usually a driver problem. But I would bet itís a parallels issue. Does parallels support hardware graphics acceleration?

    Edit: after some independent research parallels is a virtualization as I suspected. It does not allow direct access to the gpu. Itís bootcamp or bust for cemu on mac.

    So i dont have to use parallels and i have to use boot camp

    Unless Parallels is giving the VM direct and full access to the gpu you will need to use boot camp. There seems to be conflicting information. There are reports by the company that say they don't allow the vm direct hardware access. But then they are also claiming that it works great for games which would imply some sort of gpu pass through. In the end all I can say is that I'm not a mac user and am unfamiliar with parallels. But bootcamp runs directly on the hardware not through a software abstraction. And has been reported to work with cemu by the few mac users that have been around.
