    BOTW Crashing in the Main Menu

    [RESOLVED] See comments below.

    Hi. Yesterday, I installed an SSD on my computer. I installed the SSD but I kept the HD. Before the move, BOTW worked perfectly on Cemu 1.14. Now, when I try to start it, as soon as I open the Main Menu where I can select to continue, Cemu closes. The Cemu settings are correct.
    I tried to download and extract the Cemu again and it did not work.
    I tried some Shader Cache files and it also did not work.
    I tried different configurations of Graphic Packs and it also did not work.
    I did the NVidia drivers updates and they also did not work.

    It was over 20 hours of play and there has not been an error until then.

    I think it might have something to do with your update/dlc paths

    folder 'ao c' is aoc by default. 'use r' is usr. Try renaming these two folders and reinstalling DLC and updates if renaming doesn't work.

    Also, in Options -> Graphics make sure disable precompiled shaders is unchecked.

    It is also recommended to put Cemu in a simple path, for example D:/ Cemu 1.14.0 instead of D:\N Wii U\cemu_1.14.0\mlc01\. It probably won't have an effect on your crashing, though.

    I tried that yesterday. I made a back up of the mlc01 folder, delete it then, I opened the Cemu so that it created those directories again and I reinstalled the BOTW update and DLC. I replaced the Save folder with my old save and it worked.

    I did it at dawn and I had to leave today. But I was going to change the status to "resolved" now. Thank you anyway.
