    NSMBU: Can't get passed start screen

    Hi everyone I am new to the forums but not new to the emulation scene. Used Dolphin for many years and now I am getting used to using Cemu.


    Operating System (OS): Windows 10

    CPU Model: i5-4200M

    GPU Model: Nvidia Geforce GT720M

    RAM Size: 6GB

    ---

    Cemu Version: 1.13.2

    Game & Region: USA

    Game Update Version: v0

    Your problem in detail: NSMBU is unable to load after the "press 2" screen

    What you have tried: I have added the 4 files needed to get passed the start screen in the contents folder however Cemu still closes after that. Thanks for helping.

    Ok, here is your 1st lesson! Now, you having used emulators before, I'm a bit surprised this wasn't more apparent to you. The FIRST THING you want to ALWAYS do is CHECK the compatibility page! On the Cemu homepage, click on the Compatibility link, look up the game and check Known Issues...that is gonna have all the info you need

    Thanks for replying but I have already done that and looked at the compatibility page for the game and it doesn't work. Any other ideas what could be the problem? I was thinking it may be the version of NSMBU which is v0. Would I need to update?

    My only suggestions might be. Try a later version of CEMU, because 1.15 is public now. Besides that, try using a more default configuration, because some of your settings are not always stable.

    Change CPU mode to Single-core recompiler
    Change GPU Buffer Cache Accuracy to High or Medium.

    I have managed to run this with no issue using the above settings and the latest version. I emulated the pro controller as my choice of gamepads.

    I tried the latest cemu versions (1.14 and 1.15) and both work, even without adding the 4 files in the content folder it still proceed after pressing 2. For some odd reason version 1.13.2c just closes after pressing 2. Oh well that solves the issue..thank you.
