Hello, I was wondering what is known so far about the encryption system the Wii U uses to save the regular legal copies of games into a Wii U formatted drive, so we can load those games using the emulator. Does it use a HW identifier that could be set up in the emulator? Or is the encryption/decryption algorithms far from being discovered? I'm asking this in light of the announcement to shut down the Wii U online store, forcing users to download all of their previously purchased games and more than likely requiring an external hard drive to fit them all. (I know, they will still be playable on the Wii U, but what if something happens to your Wii U in the future? Would homebrew backups be the only available solution?).

Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
